Volunteer opportunities

Pediatric volunteer:

To be a pediatric volunteer for a child’s life ages 1-18 by supervising there’s many activities that you can do.

Such as

·         the playroom

·          teen room,

·          kitchen and

·          At bedside.

 You assist the staff by washing and organizing toys, books, games and assist with cooking demonstrations and special events. These opportunities are available Monday- Sunday must be at least 16. At Ronald McDonald's’ children’s hospital Loyola university medical center 2160 S. First Avenue, Haywood, IL 60153.

Homeless vet feeding and sock worlds famous down town Los Angeles drive volunteer:

You donate smiles and a food items to serve the homeless vets.

This quote is great because this is telling you that cheating won’t get you anywhere in life and you will look back and feel bad of what you have done. For example, you’re taking a quiz and you wright down the answer in your hand and that’s cheating you may feel great because you’re going to get a good grade but at the end you’re going to regret cheating. So that’s why is important to not cheat in life and go by the rules.

Dale Murphy

I believe this quote from dale Murphy is great and it says it all. This is telling us that if you make a promise to yourself that you won’t cheat you will feel happy and glad of what you have done. If you lied to yourself and cheated will is not going to get you anywhere in life because you will remember the past for cheating and feel bad of what you have done. 

Oncologist

Duties and responsibilities: oncologist is the treatment of cancer. This is a medicine that deals with tumors. Such as chemo therapy, blood test, x-rays, and radiation therapy.   

Salary:  $217.856 - $370,000

Education: after earning a bachelor’s degree you must complete medical school.

Reflection: this seems great but this doesn't interests me. 

Mitch Mickey  

This boy did a magnificent thing for his father that sadly has cancer. Mitch wanted to make his dad happy and forget that he has cancer. He practices every day to get in the finals and win a medal because if he didn't do it this year his father will probably not be there next year to see him win a medal.  Mitch actually made it and won the medal making his father emotional and proud of him. Mitch did the right thing to do for his father.

I believe this quote is great and true because it doesn't matter if your rich have beauty, strengths because what really matters is what’s inside of you, your heart. For example a person with beauty, and strengths won’t last forever, a lovely heart will always be beautiful.   

Health educator

Responsibilities and duties: A Health educator teaches people about behavior and promotes wellness. They also devolve strategies to improve health for individual communities.  

Salary: $41,830 per year $20, 11 per hour

Education: you at least need a high school diploma need a bachelor degree. You must complete a brief period of on the job training.   

Reflection:  this seems an amazing job because you teach kids about the health and help the communities. But this doesn’t interests me.
