Final part 2

A.    I like this class it was fun and it helped me learned a lot of things like to do the right thing and the thing that I don’t like is that we get a little bit of free time.

B.     Some suggestion is to let us sit were ever we want and when were finish with our work to let us some free time.

C.     I try to do my best every day for this class to get a good grade.

D.    I read my 100+ Goals because I get to add goals that I want to do and I put victory when I accomplish it.

E.     I’m a CTR person because I help others who need help and I try to help my family that  needs it the most.

F.     What I promise to take responsibility is to graduate high school with a GPA 4.0 with straight A’s. 

Showcase adventure

My showcase adventure was a great experience. This was exciting because I like meeting new people and having to get to know them more. We all had to pick our part to do and I pick to do the evidence one.  Our argument was should student be mandated to participate in a sport and we said yes. This was kind of easy to deal with because there are a lot of things that talks about people joining a sport. It was almost getting to the day we present and I was nervous at first. I have finish my part and everyone else did too so we all put together into a power point it turn out to be nice. On the day we had to practice to present the teacher told us to change the power point background because it was too bright so we did but it took us like 10 min to fix it. We had like to practice three times and good thing we did because I wasn't that nervous as I was before. The day we had to present we had to come professional. We took like three weeks and we all just had to do a power point.  But I didn't get to present because I came late to the presentation like 2 min before and I saw my group heading out the door and they said that they finish. I was very disappointed with myself because I didn't come extra early to the presentation and it was counting towards my grade. Know I now for next semester to come extra early or stay after school so this will never repeat again.

This quote is wonderful because is telling when you decide to do the right thing you feel good about yourself. When you decide not to do the right thing you will feel terrible of what you have done. For example if you choose to go to school every day you will feel good because you’re getting educated. If you decide to ditch school than you will feel bad because you will fail classes , and you won’t graduate or have a great career.

I believe this quote is wonderful this tells so many things. This means we need to be brave and start doing the right thing and not be doing the wrong thing. For example we need to start helping others to choose the right and be nice to the people who helps us, cares about us, and loves us because at the end you may need their help. That’s why it takes courage and we should start now. 

Choose the right

In this video a little boy name Patrice had pay the price because he didn't listen. Patrice and his family were camping in the desert and the little boy wanted to explore. His parents had told him to wear shoes but he didn't listen he wore slippers instead. There he goes Patrice wondering around until he felt a pain in his leg. The thing that was causing the pain was the scorpion that had stung him. The parents rush to the hospital and it was 2 hours away. The doctor had given him a shot to the leg so there won’t be any more pain. Patrice now knows when his parent says to wear shoes to listen or else something will happen. Some lessons that I learn is to never ignore your parents to do something because at the end you will be paying the price.

This quote is wonderful and true because it tells you of having a healthy body. Like you feel great strong and you eat better. Also you avoid drugs from affecting your body and doing wrong things. 

Dermatologist

Duties and responsibilities: Dermatologists are trained to treat skin cancer. The higher experience staff treat patient with scars, acne, eczema, psoriasis. They also offered therapies for goal improving and appearance with the skin.

Salary: $283,000

Education: To become Dermatologist you need four years of medical colleges are graduate schools. You also need a Bachelor of Science degree with each major.

Reflection: dermatologist is a wonderful career to take I think I would like to be a dermatologist. Why because it would be great to help patient with their problems like cancer, scars, and acne.   

Thanksgiving and thanks giving day

Thanks giving are the each year on the fourth Thursday on November. Thanks’ giving is an American holiday. This the day when Americans gather for a day of feasting, football and family. When the Pilgrims and parities arrive they bought new traditions to thanksgiving to Americans scene.  Today’s national Thanksgiving celebration is a blend of two traditions: the New England custom of rejoicing after a successful harvest, based on ancient English harvest festivals; and the Puritan Thanksgiving, a solemn religious observance combining prayer and feasting.

This video of Ian was so generous of him for giving back the baseball to the kid. What he did will always be remember because he was so nice to give the kid back the ball and did not left. Ian knew to do the do the right thing even though he didn't know that kid. For being such a great kid he got rewarded for doing the right thing. So that’s why if you be kind to others something good will happen to you in life.

Dental Assistant

Duties and responsibilities: dental assistant is an oral health care that are members in the dental care team. This is preparing the patient for treatment. The dental assistant is the extra hands of the operator’s.  

Salary: $33,470 annually $16, 09 per hour

Education: to become a dental assistant they need to receive their formal education through academic programs at community colleges, vocational schools, technical institutes, universities or dental schools.

Reflection: if you want to be a dental assistant you need great hands and social skills with the patient and I don’t have that so I would not like to be an assistant because I’m really shy.

Dental Lab Technician

Duties and responsibilities: dental lab technician is the art of science to manufacturing correct devices and replacement for natural teeth. They work close to the dentist that plans treatment and places restoration to the patient mouth.    

Salary: $25-$50,000 range.

Education:  to complete two or four years of degree in dental technology that is offered educational programs.

Reflection: I would not like to be dental lab technician because I might make a mistake for the patient mouth that why I would not like to be a dental lab technician. 

Veterans Day

Veterans Day is the day of celebration on November 11. We honor America’s veterans for their patriotism, love of country and the serve of sacrificing for the common good. This is known as the World War 1 as “The Great War.”  The Allied nations and Germany went into an effect on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. This is why November 11, 1918 is regarded as the end of “the war to end all wars.”

This is a wonderful thing to celebrate Veterans Day because we get to remember the military people who fought for our freedom. Another thing is that we get to honor them for their sacrifice.

Even though you won’t win you will still feel good about yourself by playing fair and choosing the right. If you cheat on a game to win then what’s the whole point of playing if you’re not gonna play with the rules, but later on your gonna feel terrible of what you did.

Counseling/Psychotherapy

Duties and responsibilities: counseling psychotherapy is a psychological specialty facilitates personal and interpersonal functioning across the life span. With a focus on emotional, social, vocational, educational, health-related, developmental, and organizational concerns. 

Salary:  $72,540

Education: to become a counseling psychotherapy you need a bachelor degree for 4 years either online or on compass. You also have to earn a master degree for 2 years. Earn a PHD or PsyD 2-4 additional years.    

Reflection: I think to be a counseling psychotherapy you have to be really focus and feel what the person is fleeing I would like to a counseling psychotherapy because I would love to help people over there fleeing’s and tragedy that had happen to them.
