                   Allopathic Physician (M.D)

Duties and Responsibilities: Physician examines patients; obtain medical histories; order to perform and interpret diagnostic test. It prescribe administer treatment for people that are suffering from injury or disease.   

Salary: $150,000-$300,000

Education: years in school to become an allopathic physician is 10-15 years.

                       

Reflection: I think I would not like to be an allopathic physician one day because i would not like to give shots to people or have a surgery I might faint seeing it or vomit. Allopathic is not for me.

                Allergist/Immunologist

 Duties and Responsibilities: is a physician specially trained to diagnose, treat and manage allergies, asthma and immunologic disorders. These conditions are very common to very rare, spanning all ages and encompassing various organ systems.

Salary: $187,400 a year

Education: in the United States to become an allergist / immunologist requires at least an additional nine years of training beyond a bachelor’s degree.

Reflection: I think I would not like to be an allergist / immunologist because you will work with sick people and helping them how to cure there sickness or allergies.

Sterling W. Sill quote means that being wealthy is never the answer but what you have is what you need. Like if you are poor that’s what you are and that’s what you have. You don’t need to try to be someone else what you have is what you need so be proud of what you have and who you are.

                   My first week here at HPIM

My first week here at HPIAM was great. The thing that I don’t like is that the hallway is too small and crowded I don’t see were I’m going and specially that I’m kind of short. Also my first week here was wonderful I got to see all the teachers they were nice and some of them are fun. The first day of school I thought I was going to get lost but all the classes are close to each other and is just one hallway. My first week here in HPIAM is that I wish school didn’t start at 7:30 early. I have to wake up extra early if I don’t want to be tardy to class. And that’s how my first week here was in HPIM.

                                        Acupressure

Duties and Responsibilities: Acupressure is a traditional Chinese healing method. Applying pressure to parts of the body to relive pain and reduce stress. Is based on the concept of life energy that flows through meridians in the body.

Salary: $35,970

Education: if you’re in state is require to have licensure for message therapist. Topics of study include anatomy, business, ethics, reflexology, shiatsu, and aromatherapy and acupressure bodywork.

Reflection: I think I would not like to be one because it seems you need to be relax calm and focus and I’m not that focus.  Acupressure is not for me I will like to have a better job that makes me move keeps me occupied.

                                      Acupuncture

Duties and responsibilities: Is a specific acupuncture points along the skin of the body involving methods such as penetration by thin needles or application of heat, pressure, or laser light. This key component is a Chinese traditional medicine. This is a health issue like back pain, fertility, addiction, depression, anxiety, and headaches.

Salary: $49,844

Education: You need a master degree most master level acupuncture programs required 3-4 years of study.

          

Reflection: I would not like to be acupuncture because I don’t want to put needles on people skin. I would also not do this because what about I hurt the person skin or if I put it in a wrong place and you got to be steady while putting on the needle.

                      Ophthalmologist

Duties and responsibilities:

Ophthalmologists are physicians who specialize in the treatment of eye disorders and diseases. They treat vision problems and write prescriptions for both pharmaceuticals and corrective eyeglass lens. When necessary, they perform eye surgery. Most ophthalmologist are In private practice, however some are employed by hospitals or clinic, and others perform research.

 Average Salary: $90,000-$15,000

Education Requirements:

Only physicians may study to become ophthalmologist. After completing medical school and an internship, an ophthalmologist must pass an examination to be certified.

Reflection: I think I would not like to be an ophthalmologist because I would not enjoyed it looks to boring to be an ophthalmologist
