History of basketball
James Naismith was a Canadian physical education instructor who invited basketball in 1891. While working at YMCA training school in Springfield. The first game only had nine players aside. They used a soccer ball to toss and used peach basket nailed to the balconies at the end of gymnasium.  James Naismith made a set of 13 rules of basketball. But the first formal rules were publishing in 1892. Iron basket hoops and a hammock-style basket were introduced in 1893. Everyday something is new and introduce to us. Basketball is different from today than it was before because now we don’t use soccer ball to dribble and to toss we used a ball that’s for basketball. Now is more physically. Now the average height for minimum is 6’3 foot tall. Gorge Mikan was the first man in the NBA to be considered as a big man.
