‘President Day’

President Day is an American holiday celebrated on the third Monday of February the 16. This was establishing in 1885 as recognition of president gorge Washington. George Washington birthday is on February 22 this became popular known as president day, when it was moved in 1971 as the uniformed Monday holiday act. This gave the national workers three day weekend off. In the 1870s it became the federal holiday. President Day is the traditionally time for remembrance and celebration.
